Terms
Draft, under review.
By using this site you agree to these terms. They're written to be read.
What this is
A place to read the Bible and study what it meant in its original language and world. Each verse study is written by an AI model, named on the study, working from the Hebrew or Greek and the source texts listed on the page. It can still be wrong. It is study material, not professional, legal, medical or pastoral advice. Check what matters to you.
Using the site
- Reading is free. Opening a verse no one has studied yet starts its study.
- Don't use scripts or bots to request studies, scrape the site in bulk, or get around the limits. Those limits keep the research affordable for everyone.
- Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account.
What you post
- Comments are public. You keep ownership of what you write, and you let us display it on the site.
- We don't remove comments for their views. We remove what is illegal. Each reader can filter comments for themselves.
- If you add another translation's wording, only add text you have the right to share. We may remove it.
Supporting the site
- Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel, which you can do any time from your account (it ends at the close of the current period).
- A church plan covers the church's members while it's active.
- Donations are gifts and aren't refundable except where the law requires.
- Prices may change; we'll tell subscribers before a change affects them.
