Help
Lend your computer
Listen reads every study aloud. On most phones that means the phone's own voice, because the natural voice needs a strong graphics chip. Leave this page open on a computer that has one, and it reads the studies in the natural voice, one sentence at a time, and shares the audio with everyone who listens.
This browser can't run the natural voice. A laptop or desktop with Chrome, Edge or Safari, made in the last few years (any Apple-silicon Mac), can.
This session: 0 sentences, 0.0 minutes of audio. Everyone so far: 40,412 sentences, 4,286 minutes.
What it does
The first time, your browser downloads the voice (Kokoro, about 325 MB) and keeps it. Then it takes the next studied page nobody has read yet, the most-read verses first, and reads only the sentences that don't have a voice yet. Each sentence goes to Drift Bible as a small audio file, and from there to the computers that keep the audio for everyone. Nothing runs when this page is closed, and nothing else on your computer is touched.
It works hardest plugged in, with the page left open. A recent Mac reads several sentences for every one it takes to say.
Other ways to help
If you use Claude, you can help study the Bible: take a verse that's waiting and bring back its study.
