Jeremiah 48:2 מַדְמֵ֣ן O Madmen
There is no longer praise for Moab; in Heshbon they devise evil against her: ‘Come, let us cut her off from nationhood.’ You too, O people of Madmen, will be silenced; the sword will pursue you.
Here: A Moabite town, addressed directly and mentioned nowhere else in the Bible; its location is uncertain. The name is pronounced roughly mad-MAIN, has nothing to do with the English 'madmen', and chimes with the verb that follows.
