Where it appears

1 Kings · 1
  1. 1 Kings 4:3 אֱלִיחֹ֧רֶף Elihoreph

    Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, were secretaries; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was the recorder;

    Here: First of the two brothers who held the secretary's office. The name starts with 'Eli-' ('my God'). What the second half means is uncertain: possibly 'my God is (the giver of) the autumn/harvest season', and some have suggested an Egyptian element. He appears only here.
