Song of Songs 4:8 אֲמָנָ֗ה Amana
Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, come with me from Lebanon! Descend from the peak of Amana, from the summits of Senir and Hermon, from the dens of the lions, from the mountains of the leopards.
Here: A peak in the Anti-Lebanon range (the parallel range east of Lebanon), probably near the source of the Amana (Abana) river of Damascus (2 Kgs 5:12). The name sounds like a Hebrew word for 'firmness, faithfulness', which the Greek translators picked up on.
