Acts 20:4 Σώπατρος Sopater
Paul was accompanied by Sopater son of Pyrrhus from Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus from Thessalonica, Gaius from Derbe, Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus from the province of Asia.
Here: A Greek name meaning roughly 'saved father' or 'one who saves his father'. He may be the 'Sosipater' Paul calls a kinsman in Romans 16:21, a longer form of the same name, but this is uncertain.
