Luke 14:21 ταχέως soon
The servant returned and reported all this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’
Here: 'Quickly.' The meal is already prepared (v. 17: 'everything is now ready'), and in a world without refrigeration the food would not wait. There is also a hint of urgency about the kingdom.

Luke 16:6 ταχέως soon
‘A hundred measures of olive oil,’ he answered. ‘Take your bill,’ said the manager, ‘sit down quickly, and write fifty.’

John 11:31 ταχέως soon
When the Jews who were in the house consoling Mary saw how quickly she got up and went out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to mourn there.
Here: Picks up v.29, where she rose 'quickly' (ταχύ) on hearing Jesus had come. Her sudden movement is what catches their eye.

1 Corinthians 4:19 ταχέως soon
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only what these arrogant people are saying, but what power they have.
Here: 'Soon', 'before long'. It is a statement about when, not about how fast he travels. In 16:5–8 Paul gives the actual plan: he will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost and then come through Macedonia.
Galatians · 1
-
Galatians 1:6 ταχέως soon
I am amazed how quickly you are deserting the One who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—
Here: How fast it is happening. It could mean soon after their conversion, soon after the rival teachers arrived, or 'so readily, so hastily'. The sting is that they gave in easily.
Philippians · 2
-
Philippians 2:19 ταχέως soon
Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I learn how you are doing.
Here: 'Soon': before long. Verse 23 makes it more exact: as soon as Paul sees how his own case turns out.
-
Philippians 2:24 ταχέως soon
And I trust in the Lord that I myself will come soon.
2 Thessalonians · 1
-
2 Thessalonians 2:2 ταχέως soon
not to be easily disconcerted or alarmed by any spirit or message or letter seeming to be from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord has already come.
Here: 'So quickly' or 'so readily'. The point is that they gave way too fast, without testing what they heard (compare Galatians 1:6, 'so quickly deserting'). It does not mean 'soon' in the sense of 'in the near future'.
1 Timothy · 1
-
1 Timothy 5:22 ταχέως soon
Do not be too quick in the laying on of hands and thereby share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
Here: 'Quickly' in the sense of 'too soon, without enough checking'. The problem is not the act itself but doing it before a person has been tested (compare 3:10, 'let them first be tested').

2 Timothy 4:9 ταχέως. soon.
