Where it appears

Ezra · 4
  1. Ezra 3:2 יֽוֹצָדָ֜ק Jozadak

Then Jeshua son of Jozadak and his fellow priests, along with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and his associates, began to build the altar of the God of Israel to sacrifice burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses the man of God.

Here: Short form of Jehozadak ('YHWH is righteous'), the priest taken into exile in 587/586 BC (1 Chr 6:15) and son of Seraiah, the last chief priest of Solomon's temple. Naming him ties the new altar to the old priestly line.

  2. Ezra 3:8 יֽוֹצָדָ֜ק Jozadak

In the second month of the second year after they had arrived at the house of God in Jerusalem, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Jeshua son of Jozadak, and the rest of their associates including the priests, the Levites, and all who had returned to Jerusalem from the captivity, began the work. They appointed Levites twenty years of age or older to supervise the construction of the house of the LORD.

  3. Ezra 5:2 יֽוֹצָדָ֔ק Jozadak

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak rose up and began to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, helping them.

Here: Means "YHWH is righteous." Jehozadak was the priest carried off to Babylon in 586 BC (1 Chronicles 6:15). So his son stands for the legitimate priesthood carried on through the exile.

  4. Ezra 10:18 יֽוֹצָדָק֙ Jozadak

Among the descendants of the priests who had married foreign women were found these descendants of Jeshua son of Jozadak and his brothers: Maaseiah, Eliezer, Jarib, and Gedaliah.

Here: 'YHWH is righteous', a short form of Jehozadak. He was the priest taken into exile by Nebuchadnezzar (1 Chronicles 6:15). The name carries the line of the pre-exile high priests.

Nehemiah · 1
  1. Nehemiah 12:26 יוֹצָדָ֑ק Jozadak

They served in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor and Ezra the priest and scribe.
