-
Numbers 31:16 הֵ֜נָּה they
“Look, these women caused the sons of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to turn unfaithfully against the LORD at Peor, so that the plague struck the congregation of the LORD.
Here: An emphatic 'they', feminine plural. It points back to 'every female' the soldiers spared in v.15. The stress falls on 'these very women'.

-

This is how you are to treat all the cities that are far away from you and do not belong to the nations nearby.

Now when David’s oldest brother Eliab heard him speaking to the men, his anger burned against David. “Why have you come down here?” he asked. “And with whom did you leave those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and wickedness of heart—you have come down to see the battle!”
Here: "Those" sheep. It points away from here, back to the place where Eliab thinks David should have stayed.
-
1 Samuel 27:8 הֵ֜נָּה they
Now David and his men went up and raided the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites. (From ancient times these people had inhabited the land extending to Shur and Egypt.)
Here: A feminine "they," though the three peoples are named with masculine forms. It may treat the populations or settlements as a feminine collective, but the mismatch is one of the verse's small puzzles.
2 Samuel · 1

Here: A pronoun, 'they/these', that points ahead to the list in verses 17–19 and works almost like 'are': 'six are they that YHWH hates.' The feminine is Hebrew's normal way of speaking about abstract 'things'. KJV's 'these six' and BSB's 'there are six' both catch its function.
-
Proverbs 30:15 הֵ֭נָּה they
The leech has two daughters: Give and Give. There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, ‘Enough!’:
Here: "They are." The feminine pronoun points ahead to the list in verse 16 and makes the insatiable things a set.

Here: Points back to the chambers for emphasis: "these, they are...". It marks the start of the official definition.
