Genesis 1:20 שֶׁ֖רֶץ swarming thing[s]

And God said, “Let the waters teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.”

Genesis 7:21 הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ <the> swarming thing

And every living thing that moved upon the earth perished—birds, livestock, animals, every creature that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind.

Leviticus 5:2 שֶׁ֣רֶץ a swarming thing

Or if a person touches anything unclean—whether the carcass of any unclean wild animal or livestock or crawling creature—even if he is unaware of it, he is unclean and guilty.

However, you may eat the following kinds of flying insects that walk on all fours: those having jointed legs above their feet for hopping on the ground.

All other flying insects that have four legs are detestable to you.

Leviticus 11:29 בַּשֶּׁ֖רֶץ among the swarming thing[s]

The following creatures that move along the ground are unclean for you: the mole, the mouse, any kind of great lizard,

Leviticus 11:31 הַשָּׁ֑רֶץ <the> swarming thing

These animals are unclean for you among all the crawling creatures. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until evening.

Leviticus 11:41 הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ <the> swarming thing

Every creature that moves along the ground is detestable; it must not be eaten.

Leviticus 11:42 הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ <the> swarming thing

Do not eat any creature that moves along the ground, whether it crawls on its belly or walks on four or more feet; for such creatures are detestable.

Leviticus 11:43 הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ <the> swarming thing

Do not defile yourselves by any crawling creature; do not become unclean or defiled by them.

Leviticus 11:44 הַשֶּׁ֖רֶץ <the> swarming thing

For I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, because I am holy. You must not defile yourselves by any creature that crawls along the ground.

Leviticus 22:5 שֶׁ֖רֶץ swarming thing

or whoever touches a crawling creature or a person that makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be—
